I look up to Kangana Ranaut: Shivya Pathania

Actress Shivya Pathania, who has mmade her acting debut with TV show 'Humsafars', says
Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut is her inspiration for the way she has grown in the profession.
Shivya, who hails from Himachal Pradesh like Kangana, feels the 'Queen' star has worked hard on herself, especially her diction, which is commendable.
"I look up to Kangana Ranut. She is one of my favourite actresses, not only because she is from Himachal but also the way she has improved over the years.
"Her diction had so much Himachal tone earlier but now it is so clear. I hope I can have a similar growth. Her body of work and the way she has grown is admirable," Shivya told PTI.
The former Miss Shimla feels actresses like Kangana and Vidya are women of substance as they do quality work and are more than just pretty faces.
"Both are inspirational for the kind of work they have done in Bollywood. After 'Queen', Kangana has gone notches higher in her acting. I also want to do some good content and great roles," she said.
Meanwhile, the newcomer is basking in the success of 'Humsafars', a Sony show which also stars popular TV face Harshad Chopra.
Shivya says she is living a dream and is loving the new phase in her life.
"It is all new for me there are struggles as I am in a different city, away from parents and working for long hours at a stretch but everything feels good because this is what I
always wanted to do. The struggles that come with it are nothing in comparison to the thrill I get when I face the camera," the 23-year-old actress said.
The debutant feels no pressure starring opposite the 'Saubhagyavati Bhava' star as she is confident of his talent.
"I know my strengths so there is no pressure. The show's team has shown immense faith in me so there is no point of feeling under confident. In fact I am a bit scared that I have been spoilt here so much how will I manage after the show gets over" Shivya said.
The actress wants to do a mythological character in future as she finds it challenging but is afraid of getting stuck into its image.
"I would like to do a character like Parvati. Mythological characters are my favourites. It is also because parents love such series so I would be glad if my parents watch me in one such show but it becomes difficult to break that image, that is little scary," she said. PTI PSH
